VACUshrinkʳᵉ MEX 55. Pack your cheese with a fully recyclable shrink bag

VACUshrinkʳᵉ MEX 55 is a shrink bag designed for recycling for use with fresh meat, processed meat, or non-/low gassy and mature cheese. Excellent product protection thanks to a high-barrier and great processability on all commonly available shrink lines makes this bag first choice for producers of fresh foods who value sustainability.

This mono PE shrink bag continues to provide excellent mechanical, barrier, shrinking and sealing properties and is the result of a careful selection of raw materials and a three dimensional stretching during production.

Fully in line with current Design for Recycling guidelines, such as the CEFLEX directives, the VACUshrink(re) MEX 55 does not contain any PA or PVDC, nor is it crosslinked, yet it reliably protects fresh food and runs smoothly on all commercially available shrink systems.

With a thickness of only 55 µm, its innovation has been recognized and awarded not only by the prestigious national German Packaging Award but also by the highest possible prize that the packaging world has to offer, the World Star Award 2023 in the category of “Packaging Materials and Components”.
